Employers and job recruiters may download your resume; however, you have control over whether your disability type will be displayed on the downloadable version of your resume through a switch button which is initially unchecked.

We collect the authorized representative’s information to verify their identity and authority to act on behalf of the registered business, facilitate account administration, and enable secure communication regarding recruitment activities and other platform-related matters.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

To the extent permitted or required by law, we process your personal data based on our legitimate interests in facilitating employment opportunities between PWD jobseekers and registered employers or recruiters, by matching jobseekers with employment opportunities based on their respective preferences and requirements. We may use the information we collect for purposes such as:

For Applicants

• to create and maintain the applicant's employment profile containing relevant personal, educational, professional, and employment information evaluation of applications to endorse to registered employers
• to create, authenticate, maintain, and manage the applicant's account on the PWD-E platform
• to match the applicant's qualifications, preferences, skills, and employment requirements with available job opportunities posted on the platform
• to facilitate legitimate communication between applicant and employers regarding employment opportunities
• to send occasional updates, reminders, and other relevant communications through the email address provided.

Consent to Process Disability Information

By providing your disability category and selecting the applicable consent option, you expressly consent to the collection, processing, and use of this information solely for employment matching and recruitment purposes only.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to applicable legal and operational limitations.

Disclosure of Disability Type

You may choose whether your disability type will be displayed on your downloadable resume through the privacy setting provided in your account. This preference does not necessarily prevent the system from processing your disability information for the employment-matching functionality for which you have provided consent.

For Business and its Representative

• to verify the identity, legitimacy, and authority of the business or organization registering on the platform
• to authenticate and manage authorized representatives who access and administer the employer's account
• to facilitate the posting of job opportunities and matching of qualified PWD applicants with available positions

We acknowledge that the processing of sensitive personal information, particularly an applicant’s disability category or type, is subject to stricter data protection requirements. We are committed to complying with all applicable privacy laws and regulations and implementing appropriate organizational, physical, and technical security measures to protect this information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or other forms of improper processing.

BASIS OF PROCESSING

For the system to work, we process basic personal and other relevant information based on the company’s legitimate interest in facilitating registration, profile management, validation, and employment matching.

We process applicant’s disability type, age, education, gender and information that fall under sensitive information category based on his/her explicit consent, which we obtain before collecting and using this sensitive personal information for employment-matching and recruitment purposes.

HOW DATA IS COLLECTED

We collect your personal information directly through the PWD-E web-based platform when you register and create an account. The information you provide through this platform is collected electronically and stored securely in our database for the purposes stated in this Privacy Notice.

DISCLOSURE AND SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

PWD-E may share your personal information with registered employers and job recruiters for employment matching, recruitment, and related employment opportunities, as stated in this Privacy Notice. Such information will be shared only to the extent necessary for these purposes and in accordance with your preferences and applicable data protection laws.

Where necessary, PWD-E may also share relevant personal information with authorized third-party private-sector organizations that support or participate in employment-related activities, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable data protection requirements.

Disability Information: Your disability type will be disclosed to employers or recruiters only when necessary for the stated employment-matching purposes and subject to the consent and privacy preferences applicable to its processing.

PWD-E will not sell, disclose, or otherwise share your personal information with any unauthorized person or organization, particularly for purposes beyond those stated in this Privacy Notice.

HOW WE SECURE, STORE AND RETAIN YOUR DATA

All information you provide is transmitted securely using encryption. Personal data are encrypted both in transit and at rest to protect them from unauthorized access.

Personal data, including data stored on primary systems and backup media, are accessible only to authorized personnel. PWD-E implements role-based access control (RBAC) across IT assets where personal data are stored to ensure that access is limited to personnel based on their authorized roles and responsibilities.

The personal data will be retained in the database for the duration of the account’s active use and for up to one (1) year after account deletion or inactivity. Retention may be extended when necessary for legitimate employment history and statistical purposes. For extended retention, only relevant data necessary for these purposes will be retained in aggregated or anonymized form, rather than retaining the entirety of the original personal data.

Once the data has fulfilled its intended purpose and is no longer required to be retained, it shall undergo appropriate secure disposal or destruction in accordance with applicable policies and data protection requirements. Where appropriate, data may be anonymized for legitimate statistical or historical purposes, while personal data that is no longer necessary shall be securely and permanently destroyed through appropriate data disposal methods.

1. Account Creation and Registration
   Employers must register for an account and provide accurate and up-to-date information to access and use the Website’s services. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, including your username and password, confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or use of your account.
2. Job Postings and Content
   By posting job openings, you confirm that all submitted content is accurate, complete, and lawful. You are solely responsible for the content of your job postings and any resulting outcomes. Do not post illegal, defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate content. We reserve the right to remove or modify any content that violates these Terms or our content guidelines.
3. Candidate Selection and Communication
   You are solely responsible for selecting and hiring candidates. We do not guarantee any applicant’s qualifications, suitability, or performance. All interactions, negotiations, and hiring decisions between you and the applicant are entirely your responsibility. PWD-E has no role in employment arrangements.
4. Intellectual Property
   The Website and all its content—including text, graphics, logos, and software—are protected by intellectual property rights owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any part of the Website without explicit permission.
5. Limitation of Liability

3. Application Conduct
   You affirm that all information in your application is truthful and complete. Misrepresentation, misconduct, or unprofessional behavior may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4. Matching and Placement
   PWD-E facilitates connections but does not guarantee placement. Candidate selection and approval are determined solely by host companies. We are not responsible for any outcomes, including mismatches or rejections.
5. Data Use and Communication
   You consent to the collection and use of your personal data for job matching, communication with employers and authorized parties, and employment-related monitoring. System notifications and optional promotional messages may be sent to you, which can be managed via your account settings.
6. Intellectual Property
   All materials you upload (e.g., resumes, cover letters, portfolios) remain your intellectual property. By submitting them, you grant PWD-E a limited, non-exclusive license to use them solely for job application processing and facilitation.
7. Limitation of Liability
